This is a seriously cool idea, I would really like to see this fleshed out with stuff like mission types or objectives, otherwise though the combat is super fun, though some enemies I couldn't lock my missiles on, and most of the time I didn't understand what was happening. I am a big fan of the turn-based dog fighting though, that's a super unique idea.
I'm still working on producing a more finished game. A lot of the jam time was filled with me trying to get flight mechanics that actually played nicely with turn based movement (I thought it would be easy, but I tried so many ways to get something that felt like a plane and still behaved in a roguelike way). As for missile locks, theres a fair few conditions that need to be met to lock on (or I forgot to change the tag on the plane to lock on). I will check that more before I post it next
But yeah, there will be a more fully fledged game, complete procedurally generated objectives, as well as some missions I'll put together, see if I can find a good mix. I'll post the updates here as I go (hopefully)
